What is the Treaty of Versailles?
The Treaty of Versailles was the peace settlement signed
after World War One had ended in 1918 and in the shadow of the Russian
Revolution and other events in Russia. The treaty was signed at the vast
Versailles Palace near Paris - later its title - between Germany and the
Allies. The three most important politicians there were David Lloyd George,
Georges Clemenceau and Woodrow Wilson.
What happened to cause an armistice?
The armistice was an agreement between the Allies and Germany that ended the fighting in the First World War. The citizens of this countries needed to make a lot of sacrifices for example woman needed to work in factories, also there was a new law people should follow it was called sedition act this talk about it was elegal to talk against the war.
What series of events started WWI?
Serbia killed the king of Austria so that why austria declare war on servia. Russia got
involved to defend Serbia. Germany seeing Russia defending Serbia, declared war
on Russia. France was then drawn in against Germany and Austria.
Germany attacked France through Belgium pulling Britain into war. Then Japan
entered the war. Later, Italy and the United States would enter on the side of
the allies.
All this countries got involved that´s why it was called a bloddy war.
